Matt Hoover

Matt Hoover knows what it takes to win in life and business!

Matt Hoover, winner of NBC’s Biggest Loser, has experienced great highs….and lows…and openly shares the lessons of both in a FREE one-time live event.

As a 2-time state champ and all-American, he was at the top of his game when he wrestled for the legendary Coach Dan Gable at the University of Iowa. When his wrestling career came to a sudden halt, he tried to numb the crushing failure with food and alcohol and ballooned to 340 pounds.

In a transformation before millions on NBC’s The Biggest Loser, Matt walked away with the show’s grand prize of $250,000.00 by losing 157 pounds. His bigger prize…he also met his co-contestant and future wife whom he later married on The Today Show.

The cameras stopped rolling that season, but Matt’s story of creating a happy, healthy lifestyle went on. He recently joined forces with the amazing team of experts at BestLifeDesign.com, where he blogs about the joys and challenges of living his best life as a husband, father, speaker and coach.

The Power of Live Events

I have never had anything against hard- “roll up your sleeves and get dirty” work.

Its almost annoying to me to see such a culture of “aspiration to apathy”.

If you like the show “Deadliest Catch” or “Dirty jobs” then I’m sure you will appreciate the insight and inspiration that Mike Rowe shares about his perspectives and how they are changing about good ol fashioned American Work.

Is business Scary?

by Admin on March 15, 2009

I know exactly what it feels like.
Running a business can overtake and overwhelm your life.
its scary sometimes feeling like
I dont really know whats gonna happen to my Business.
Will i be able to make enough money to support and
provide security for all those that are depending on me?

If all these Big wigs with the
Multi-million dollar salaries and
Ivy- league education and
Washington In-crowd connections
cant keep their companies from
going belly up,
how the heck am I sposed to be able to manage all this and survive?

What if the Bills outweigh the sales?

What if the money my customers owe me that I am
depending on to cover payroll doesent come through on time?

It’s like driving on an icy road,
no matter how well you THINK you are managing your own vehicle,
sometimes black Ice or some other stupid driver pops up who
has lost control HIMSELF can take you right into a ditch.
It’s not your fault.

And you know every time theres the first few snowfalls,
some bonehead,
Just because he drives a Giant SUV that says 4WD,
thinks he can recklessly barrel on past all the other
careful, seasoned drivers who know when its time to play it safe.

The reckless over-confident idiot turns out to be
an even bigger road hazard ,
to himself and all those around him,
than the Ice and snow.

The solution for a struggling business isnt really some big bailout.
No entitlement program is really gonna make
your small business stronger.
the solution is gonna take many things working well together.
there is no “magic pill” that turns a business
from Failing to Thriving.

The steps are not even complicated.
its actually all common sense.
believe it or not. Just simple common sense.
The best way for Small business to out compete Big Corporate is to
focus on what Small business can do
much Better, More authentically and effectively than what
the big companies that
got us into this mess
have been doing.

Simple common sense solution Number 1
Coaching
Yep, even Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods,
you name any superstar athlete,
They got  coaching.
Great Coaches push to bring greatness out.
coaching helps focus your energy on what is
truly going to work the best and
spots the errors in execution
that can cost you the game.
Professionals dont go to cheerleaders for their coaching,
nor do they just sit at home alone and
read books about how to win the game.
Professionals go to Professional Coaches.
To get pushed and guided,
out of your comfort zone,
into the new territory where success is found.

This is pretty cool. It’s a very precise way of making an easily measurable formula for comparing exactly what the cost vs profit per PPC ad per impression is to empower you to make more money with less time, less risk and less investment.
It’s pretty DIY-123 techy and advanced but give it a thorough run thru.
Twice
The common sense will shine through to help you make the best decisions while you’re testing and tracking the ROI of your campaigns.

The Spreadsheet that Glen refers to is available on his blog and is free to use and share..here…
http://www.ppcx7.com/1001.htm?q=enyyoiisnnnnn1nnxmx

what a wonderful gift it would make.
I downloaded a copy onto a really cool Thumb drive and presented it to my 3 yr old daughter for her birthday and her response was:
“I love you daddy”
then she used it to spread fingerpaint on mommies drapes.
thanks and take care
Bryan

Google explains the concept of ROI here:

How much money would you invest in advertising if you knew you made

$200 profit for every $100 spent on ads?

Think about that for a minute,

for what really happens when you have a good plan and

know what your return on investment is.

Think about how often  would you give me $100 if,

each time you did,

I gave you  $200 ?
